She gets up in the morning gets ready for school and leaves her house. She has practice after school for basketball. Then after that she has cheer, and other days shee has softball and soccer.

Tori Pratt, junior at Marion, is a four sport athlete. “I enjoy playing the sports and I know that when I get to college it will help me.” She said that she also would like to get the four sport athlete award when she graduates.

Tori says that she has a lot of friend and family support. “My grandma comes to every game or event I have,” she said. “My grandma always cheers for me and pushes me to keep going and do my best,” she said with a smile. She said that having her friends and family cheering for her really helps her perform with her best agility and really push to help her team win.

Tori has played sports her whole life. “I’ve played softball the longest,” she said. “It was like I’ve been playing since the womb,” Tori laughed. She said she has been doing cheer since high school. “I did cheer because I always thought it would be fun and it is,” Tori said. “I also play soccer; I played before middle school but stopped then when high school started I played and I love it.” Tori said her favorite part is her teammates. “On every team I have been on or am on, we always help and push each other.”

Tori gets up and gets ready for school again. This time she can’t forget her soccer bag and she’s out the door ready to play for her, her team and her school.
