The Remarkable Incident at Carson’s Corners

Marion High school is hosting a play called “The Remarkable Incident at Carson’s Corners.” The team practices every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday since mid- September, their leader is Ms.Junge,  an english teacher at MHS. At practices they run lines, work on getting into character, and how to interact on stage.

Many times students fear getting up in front of others and performing, along with memorizing lines. said, “If it’s something you’re interested in, you should definitely try it. It can help with speaking in front of groups, and the nerves of public speaking.”

The play is to perform December 6th, 7th, and 8th at 7:00pm, tickets can be purchased before hand or at the door. Many times students will attend an event of an extracurricular activity and find courage or desire to join.

Goodwin ‘19 said “During practice I feel fine, but during performance I know I’ll be nervous. My character is Bob McGinnis, I’m one of the students. This play will be one to keep your emotions intense.”

The cost of the play is $5-$10, and the age recommendation is 13+. Find out about the murder of the janitor as it progresses into a trial next week.
